El Valle irrigated property that borders National Forest land. It is possible to drive to the top forested part from forest rd. starting in Las Trampas. It is possible to drive across arroyo that runs along county rd. This is an old access, needs a culvert and some work, but is the best route to the upper portion. Acequia is fed from Rio Trampas, and this upper ditch is divided into 16 shares. Tract C and G are allocated a portion of this share. Exact amount of water is dependant on what is available in river. River also feeds water to Las Trampas and Ojo Sarco. Currently bottom tract is irrigated and grow hay, and is cut and baled. Upper tract is irrigated and currently used for grazing horses. The property is fenced along both sides of the road. There ae no cross fences, and someone takes care of this property, as well as the adjacent family land. Upper tract would make a good orchard. Lower tract could be used for any number of agricultural purposes. The is a good building site on the lower portion of the bottom tract. There are several building possibilities above the upper ditch. This is a very wonderfull spot, and for anyone looking for views, water, privacy and access to National Forest, this property has lots of posibiities. Worth checking out.
